Technical Principle
The core technology of Find Hub relies on a vast, encrypted, and anonymous network of devices.
How Offline Finding Works: Your device broadcasts an encrypted, frequently rotating unique identifier using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. Other nearby Android devices that are online detect this signal and anonymously and securely relay your device's approximate location to Google's servers. When you need to locate your device, the server synthesizes this information to show you the last "sniffed" location.
Throughout this process, location data is encrypted. Neither Google nor other users in the network can identify you or your specific device, ensuring strong user privacy protection.
